I live probably 10 minutes from gators in Deland, Florida and it is awesome. The service is always great and the food is really good. I am hooked on their fish sandwiches. They are so light and moist and tempura battered! They have awesome nachos and hamburgers. Prices are very good for the quality is very good! I highly recommend gators.
Typical Gator's chain atmosphere, service is great at the bar, wings , app's, burgers, can't go wrong. Plenty of seating & Big screens for the games, shoot a game of pool if you like, they have a few tables, also arcade games for the young ones. The interior is showing its age, ESPECIALLY the restroom's. The word is a remodel is coming this summer, much overdue...Fun place to go...

We had a great meal , but even better service . Our waitress was Aeriell ! she was phenomenal. I didn't know we would be dined by a mermaid :) She went above and beyond . I would recommend to get her if shes there !
Stopped by with a friend while out running errands on a rainy Sunday. The hostess was nice and seated us right away. Had the buffalo shrimp, gator bites, and some boneless wings. Everything was great and food came out fast. Will definitely come back and play some pool.
Came here for the first time while visiting family. Our server was sweet and took care of us. I ordered a cobb salad. Can't believe they had french dressing. My fav! No one ever has french dressing. Five stars alone just for that. Yeah, I'm easily impressed when someone carries something I like that you can't ever get any where else. It's the little things, people. Everyone enjoyed their food. I'm sure we'll be back next time we're in town.
I was in Deland on a Sunday afternoon and decided to find somewhere to grab a bite and watch some of the NFL Games. I'm familiar with Gator's as there are a few around Orlando. They're famous for their wings, but I did not partake (although I love their grilled "scooter" wings). The menu here also was a bit smaller than the other locations I've been, but could be a product of the pandemic too. Fried Pickles - Wow, if you've ever eaten fried pickles and were frustrated with all of the breading falling off, then you need to try these bad boys. You can bite into these bad boys and get a nice crunch and pickle combo without them falling apart. I ended up just putting each full delicious bad boy in at once as they weren't that big where you need to bite them. Fish Tacos - I took a chance and ordered blackened instead of fried and I was super happy I did. They were healthier, but the fish was so moist and flavorful that I didn't miss the crunch of the fried version. There was also a lot of fish on each taco. Fish Sandwich - This reminds me of the fish sandwiches from eastern PA where the piece of fish is WAY bigger than the bun. Excellent crispy flakey fish. Service was great and the wait staff were all friendly and in their NFL gear to add to the atmosphere. They had a bunch of different NFL games on so if you're looking to watch a game you might not have on your TV set at home, this may be a good spot.
